Heterosexism just informs half the story

When you look at the film that is new Behavior, bisexual protagonist Shirinâ€”played by writer/director Desiree Akhavanâ€”has a discussion along with her sibling about her intimate life that goes similar to this:
â€œMaxine and I also were in a relationship.â€
â€œSo youâ€™re a lesbian?â€
â€œI happened to be pretty into all of the dudes I happened to be with and so I think Iâ€™m bisexual.â€
Yes, it is something; however itâ€™s also numerous things that are different. Into the movie, Shirinâ€™s cousin continues on to ask whether she has to turn out to her moms and dads, given that her lesbian relationship has ended.
